McMahon set to knock up 100th Test cap

By Netball Australia

Australian Diamonds captain Sharelle McMahon is set to knock up her 100th Test cap in Brisbane tomorrow.

Lining up against the New Zealand Silver Ferns, McMahon says while the milestone will be a huge honour it is not at the forefront of her mind.

“It is definitely an exciting thing to have achieved but my focus will be on the game,” McMahon explained.

“It is an important game for us and we have many improvements to make.
“So that’s really the focus for tomorrow.”

“It is probably something I will look back on when I’m retired and brag about.”

The Diamonds and Ferns are squared one-game all in the five-Test Series.

The Australians will battle the Silver Ferns tomorrow at 3.25pm in Brisbane.
You can catch all the pride, passion and rivalry live on Channel Ten and ONE.
