Victorian Fury favourites heading into finals

Victoria Fury have finished the New Idea Australian Netball League season on top of the ladder for the second year, remaining undefeated throughout the seven-week competition.

The team from Victoria will head into the finals series this weekend as hot favourites to win back-to-back titles, but with Australian Institute of Sport, Queensland Fusion and South Australia all hitting good form at the right end of the year it will be a tough weekend of netball.

The finals will kick off on Saturday afternoon at the Cornubia Park Sports Centre in Brisbane with the Grand Final to be the played as the curtain raiser to the Diamonds v Silver Ferns Test match at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
