Australia goes three in a row at WYNC

By Netball Australia

A disciplined performance by Australia outclassed an inexperienced Botswana winning their third pool game by 85 goals.

Coach Simone McKinnis tested a number of combinations and once again all players took the court.

Caldwell, a late inclusion in the team after the withdrawal of Kimberly Borger, played all four quarters.

It is a credit to Tegan that she has fitted so seamlessly into the team taking full advantage of the opportunity, playing with confidence and being a strong play maker in the goal ring.

McKinnis was pleased the players maintained the intensity through the game and praised the high level of skills.

The team moved the ball with speed down the court and rarely threw a bad pass.

he flow of play reflected the Aussie style of play – low and hard, high intensity and a team effort.

Australia plays Fiji on Saturday in the last of the pool games.
