Darters get first win on the board in sea of pink By Netball Australia  The Canberra Darters have scored their first New Idea Australian Netball League (ANL) win, defeating Singapore in front of a crowd of approximately 1200 fans dressed in pink.
With half the gate takings being donated to the McGrath Foundations, Canberra residents were out in pink to support both the Darters and the charity. Netball ACT announced at the match that it would extend its pledge to donate half of the gate takings to the McGrath Foundation to the remaining two home games against the Australian Institute of Sport on 28 August and the NSW Blues on 30 August. In other matches, defending premiers Victorian Fury opened their ANL campaign with two wins against Territory Storm and South Australia. While the NSW Netball Waratahs, NSW Blues, South Australia and Western Australia also got wins on the board in Round 3.
