Game Report:
Tasmania have claimed their second round clash against Australian Capital Territory with a convincing victory, 30-18 in the DealsDirect.com.au 19/U National Netball Championships.
Tasmania came out charging in the first quarter, with strong defensive pressure giving them a five-goal lead 9-2 at quarter time.
ACT scored four goals to gain some ground in the second term, but Tasmania continued to dominate and extended their lead to 6-17 at half time.
The addition of Tasmanian goal shooter Chelsea Coleman in the third quarter further stretched Tasmania�s lead by 10 goals, with ACT capitalising on their opportunities to add two more goals on the scoreboard to trail 8-27 at the final change.
ACT came out firing in the final quarter in an effort to close the gap, with the inclusion of centre Hayley O�Neill helping the side gain nine goals and keep Tasmania to three for the final term.
Tasmania eventually ran out 30-18 victors.
