Queensland looked far more dangerous as the half wore on, hitting targets and gaining confidence, turning a quarter time deficit into a 17 – 12 half-time advantage.
Tasmania staged something of a revival in the third quarter, led by the hard work of wing attack Zoe Brown, centre Sarah Lyons and the sharp shooting of Jacqui Witt.
It was several steadying goals late in the quarter that secured Queensland a 26 – 22 buffer at the final break.
Queensland dominated the final term, putting together a 14 goal to three quarter of netball.

In the round, Queensland will meet Victoria, while Tasmania will face off against the Australian Capital Territory.
