Australia’s build-up to the 2007 World Championship campaign begins in earnest this month with the Tri-Nation series in the UK. National coach, Norma Plummer has taken an experienced line-up to test out arch-rivals New Zealand and host nation England over the short series. Captain, Liz Ellis will share defensive duties with Bianca Chatfield, Mo’onia Gerrard and debutant Rebecca Bulley (nee Strachan) who comes into the line-up to replace the injured Julie Prendergast (ankle). The von Bertouch sisters, Laura and Natalie, head a swift and tenacious mid-court alongside Natasha Chokljat and Selina Gilsenan. Vice-captain, Sharelle McMahon will team with Catherine Cox, Susan Pratley and Kristen Heinrich in the goal circle.
